My sound practice is rooted in DIY. Making my own instruments and interfaces is often at the very core of my projects.
I tend to upcycle and recycle a lot in my works. At times new projects start just by looking at the surrounding materials or old consumer devices and realizing their potential use in a musical, interactive sense. Also, I occasionally tend to maintenance of older gear such as synthesizers, midi interfaces, guitars or effect units, also bending and adding functionality.

Through this post-humanist viewpoint for electronics, I hope to rethink the ways we see the culture of electronic devices, think of how we address the ever growing nature/techne divide, and how sound and listening can become a bridging medium.
My current focus in electronics DIY is 'Circuits of Extended Phenotype' - an authentic concept for exposed and environmentally sensitive hardware electronic devices. This concept was initially inspired by J. Lovelocks and L. Margulis Gaia theory of bio-geological evolution, that proposes an extended view upon organisms, and their influence on the environment, embracing the nearly infinite reciprocities, between earth and it’s inhabitants. I found Gaian perspective upon organisms as an inspiring leap-point to rethink electronic sound circuit design towards one that could interact with biotic and abiotic environment in it’s full functionality.
